New Extra Life

Extra Life's Charlie Looker

Anyone with any kind of historical knowledge of the Brooklyn diy scene remember when Charlie Looker was a part of Zs and Dirty Projectors (when they were at their best). Ok, good. So let's not talk about it anymore.

Extra Life has been the main solo project for Looker since 2006, though he's had different line-up variations (seriously, enough with the Dirty Projectors comparisons). The Wesleyan music graduate and modern guitar deconstructionist is set to release his sophomore release Made Flesh in April on their London-based label LOAF Records (who is also responsible for their debut LP Secular Works).

While we anticipate the new Extra Life LP, we've got this radio-edit version of the first single. Wait, radio-edit? What the fuck!
