Trevor Powers’ beloved experimental indie unit delivers powerfully intimate show in Brooklyn
Youth Lagoon, the long-running indie project led by Boise-based musician Trevor Powers, continues to hold strong as they hit Warsaw in Brooklyn for a powerfully intimate show for a packed crowd. Powers, looking his usual dapper, stylish self, delivered all the kaleidoscopic elements of Youth Lagoon’s sound, from the soothing, stripped-back indie pop of his earlier work to the more imaginative, poignant, and experimental art rock and dream pop of his terrific latest album Rarely Do I Dream, which was released earlier this year via Fat Possum to widespread acclaim. Feel free to scroll through all the highlights from a wondrous show in Brooklyn below.
