Rising Georgia alt-pop quartet share wonky new single
Like many of the best bands out there, alt-indie act All The Rest started their journey in a basement in Georgia. Comprised of Caleb Smith (guitar), Baylee Waller (guitar), Tre Housman (bass) and Jud Harris (drums) – the group crafts pop music that’s hard to pigeon hole, and therefore is always interesting.
Their honest lyrics and unique rhythms have led to support from Buzzfeed, Clash and Earmilk and support across Spotify’s playlist system. Their new single “Move On” exemplifies the unpredictable style the band have become known for, a stately balance between indie, pop and electronic.
“‘Move on’ meets you right where you are, right when you need it; at least that’s what it did for us,” the band shared. “Through these past couple of years our individual lives have changed so rapidly, and become complicated to say the least. This song happened to come into existence through a dark time for a couple of us specifically. We haven’t really had any other choice but to keep going and have faith that it’s all going to work out…even when it doesn’t feel like it. That’s what “Move On” is about. Maybe you can relate.”
