Recorded live to tape, San Francisco band Cool Ghouls’ sophomore album, A Swirling Fire Burning Through The Rye, is throwing off some early sparks, with this week’s new track “And It Grows”. The four know how to pair velvety harmony with whirling psych instrumentals in a way that leans more towards the classics than some of their SF psych contemporaries, like Thee Oh Sees for instance. It’s an updated “Turn! Turn! Turn!” for Fall-hungry daydreamers everywhere.
