The indie singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist delivered a dazzling display in Seattle

Kishi Bashi – the multi-talented veteran indie pop and rock singer, songwriter, guitarist, violinist, keyboardist, etc. – returned to his birthplace of Seattle and delivered an utterly dazzling show for a stunned sold-out audience. Showing off his new “West Coast” water bottle and declaring his love for having moved back out west, the musician led the crowd through an epic hour and forty minute set that spanned his entire discography – from 2012’s 151a to this year’s terrific new album Kantos. He even threw in a cover of Talking Heads’ “This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody).” He also mentioned the film he made, omoiyari, which was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Arts and Culture Documentary, shouting out some of the film’s crew who were in attendance.
