In their new David Lynch-inspired video for the song “Tea Colored Radio,” Atlanta based rock outfit The Head gets surreal. The three minute video was directed by Nick Rhodes of Coalesce Films and features the band shot in black and white, with the area surrounding their rehearsal space just outside Atlanta. The result is a video that’s dark aesthetically but playful in terms of the band’s sound. “The song itself feels very industrial and dark, so we wanted to convey that through use of shadows and lighting,” explains drummer Jack Shaw.
The Head make feel good indie rock that will have you bopping your head and dancing. “Tea Colored Radio” is easy to get behind in the best way.
