Enchanting synthpop, arena-made alt-rock, Sacred Bones industrial & more round out a loaded release day
It’s perhaps the most stacked release day of the year, with many of our most anticipated albums of 2024 dropping today. And better yet, today’s Impose album picks encompass just about the entire musical spectrum, from the mainstream-conquering pop of Sabrina Carpenter, to the dissonant industrial metal of Sacred Bones’ Uniform, and everything in between. That also includes the return of synthpop duo Magdalena Bay and experimental trio SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE, two of the best rising acts in all of music. And then there’s the latest from Irish post-punk stalwarts Fontaines D.C., who are looking for their big breakthrough with their imaginative and crowd-pleasing new LP. Dive right in and let these albums soundtrack another awesome summer weekend.
