Rising Chicago hardcore band levels up on blistering lead single off upcoming debut LP
“Chicago hardcore party rockers” Buggin (formerly known as Buggin Out) have become one of the most exciting up-and-coming bands in the sphere over the last few years. They’ve delivered a string of impressive singles ever since their breakout self-titled EP dropped three years ago, and they’ve toured incessantly as they look to level up to another creative peak. That moment might well be upon us, as Buggin have now dropped a new single – the scorching behemoth “All Eyes On You.” It’s the first taste of their highly anticipated debut album Concrete Cowboys, set to drop on June 2 via Flatspot Records.
“All Eyes On You” is a heavy, fast, short and savage track built around blistering hardcore riffage and singer Bryanna Bennett’s impressive throat-shattering vocals. The track toggles between splicing riffs and thunderous breakdowns, but maintains a staggering rhythmic charge that never lets up. It’s one of those tracks that really channels the rage of a live setting, which means it’ll be an absolute blast to witness in the chaos of the pit.
