Baltimore duo Chiffon has been making spacey sex-positive R&B since 2012. Last year’s Marble EP was full of smooth synth jams, Baltimore club influences, body talk, and cathartic, extremely danceable experimental pop. Amy Reid and Chase O’Hara are equal collaborators and the project is driven by how well they vibe together. Their newest song “Venerable”, is all plinking synths and yearning, with Reid singing about time and the elusiveness of moments.
Chiffon is currently recording and mixing a new album, due out later this year.
