Coming at you like a freight train with the weight of eight years of travel is the golden-hued rock of Austin’s Genuine Leather. The primary vehicle of its figurehead Chris Galis, Genuine Leather has released 2 EPs, 3 LPs and a slew of B-Sides since their inception which they are now culling from and packaging into a retrospective 2011-2019 Demos, Singles and Live. Impose Magazine is happy to be spotlighting the collection’s new original cut, “Feel It,” today.
Remember that train analogy up top? That’s how “Feel It” rolls out of the gate with a muted tease of its thunderous riff that eventually explodes up and sparkles throughout. “Feel It” proves that Genuine Leather has just as much to look forward to in the future. as it celebrates its past.
