Josh Homme must be sucking from the fountain of youth because Era Vulgaris sounds like a fresh 19 year old covering QOTSA. Given his recent outlook, it makes sense that the new album seems to reflect current indie/rock trends (in a good way!):

They want to delay adolescence and prolong adolescence, prolong thought about what to do, and try to take advantage of life while it's around, take more artistic jobs, like working at Pitchfork, playing rock music.”
