The indie legend treated fans to an intimate set at 9:30 Club
Jeff Tweedy swung by Washington D.C. on his brief solo tour for one show at the 9:30 Club, and another at the smaller Atlantis venue next door. The sold-out Tuesday night crowd was in for a real treat. He played new songs and old songs, from Wilco, his various solo projects and Uncle Tupelo, at the request of a very drunk fan. Jeff really knows his audience. All his jokes were landing, and there was a nice sing-along section towards the end of the set.
