With rain no longer in the forecast, the artists on Day 3 of Pitchfork Fest turned up the heat and brought the Union Park crowd to its knees. Standout moments included a display of Taureg magic from Niger-based guitar god Mdou Moctar, vibrant Jamaican pop from Koffee, and a heavy dose of indie punk from Illuminati Hotties.
Meanwhile, Kelela delivered her breakbeat-infused alt-R&B stylings, while JPEGMAFIA continued to prove why he’s the best experimental rapper in the game with his explosive high-energy afternoon set.
