Capturing the rising rock band on their recent U.S. tour with opener Nordista Freeze
Rising rock band Trash Panda, who hail originally from Atlanta, have been riding waves of buzz in recent years as they’ve conjured a sound that effortlessly straddles several different genres at once: indie, alternative rock, psych pop, soul, and many others. Through it all, they’ve fastened a fun sonic brand thanks to their consistently excellent recordings and a smashing live show to boot.
They’ve also checked off some neat career milestones this year, having performed at several major music festivals (including SXSW and Shaky Knees) and recently dropping their fantastic new LP PANDAMONIUM. On the heels of that album’s release, we followed Trash Panda around for a while on their latest U.S. tour, capturing all the frenzy and the highlights from their shows in cities such as Austin, Chicago, Columbus, Denver, New York, and more.
Also along for the ride was Nashville artist Nordista Freeze, who opened each show with a dreamy swirl of psych-pop magic.
Trash Panda will continue to tour later this summer and into the fall, playing a slew of shows in the south before heading out west. You can check out those tour dates HERE, and for the time being, take in all the highlights from their recently-completed tour below.
