On Wednesday, May 1st, Red Bull Music Academy presented a night of improvised duets at Brooklyn Masonic Temple. The event featured a musician performing an improvised song alone then being joined by another musician for another five minutes. When the five minute song was completed, the first musician left so another could join their previous partner. The lineup featured a diverse lineup of musicians such as Bernie Worrell, ?uestlove of The Roots, Vijay Iyer, Andrew Bird, Thundercat, Adam Schatz, Andrew WK, James Zoo, Mantana Roberts, Mary Holvorson, Roy Hargrove, Glenn Kotche, Erik Friedlander, Robert Glasper, DJ Spinna, Dosh, Don Byron, Joe Lovano, Kim Gordon and James Chance.
