After the release of their highly-regarded self-titled debut on Mannequin in 2012 (with a re-press by locals Holodeck), and their follow-up maxi single 12-inch on Monofonus Press, Austin’s analog synth prognosticators S U R V I V E have announced they have signed with the seminal Philadelphia metal label Relapse Records. Upon hearing the news, regular Impose and S U R V I V E photographer Alex Kacha set out to photograph the band in the very intimate settings of each member’s personal recording space. What follows is Alex’s view inside their studios as well as a nightly practice session.
S U R V I V E’s Relapse debut is slated for release in late summer, 2016.
