On Thursday, March 26, the sixth edition of The Film Society of Lincoln Center’s “Sound + Vision Live” (formerly known as “Staring at Sound”) series took place at The Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center. The evening featured visuals in the form of dead formats and sounds of standing tones, bells, songs, and voices. There were sets from Middle Grey (performing a “Dragonball” fueled electronic collaboration) with Ginny Benson (using VHS tapes), and Ben Seretan (using 8mm footage of his family in the 1950s that were digitized and slowed down).
