[From Nate Dorr’s Sans Temps Morts:]
The somehow charmingly macabre (think of the scary comforts of Where the Wild Things Are as a low-key three-piece band with an impressive pop sense) sounds of Flying, plus Boston’s Prince Rama, Air Waves, Hologram, and the unhinged folk of Ric Leichtung. I haven’t actually seen most of these groups either, but the discoveries are the best part of these shows, and the Prince Rama MySpace seems pretty promising. And Dan Deacon himself recommends Air Waves. Are you going to argue with Dan Deacon?
