Hatnim Lee is an OG Impose photographer. One of the first to grace these pages, her work has published on PDN, CNN, and the the Washington Post, among others. Raised in Washington DC, she’s spent 15 years of her life documenting her parent’s liquor store—Hatnim’s home away from home as a child. Her parents have since retired, but her series, Plexiglass, which focuses on the faces and lives that she encountered working behind the store’s acrylic glass, lives on. Here are a few of the photos—and faces—from that series.
