On Tuesday, May 19, comedian and “Saturday Night Live” cast member Michael Che held a birthday show at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. Despite not announcing a lineup, tickets sold out in advance. Che chose to celebrate turning a year older with some of his “SNL” co-workers (Colin Jost, Vanessa Bayer, and Jay Pharoah), future host of “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah, and fellow comedians Lil Rel, Liza Treyger, Simeon Goodson, Sasheer Zamata, plus former MTV VJ Jesse Camp, Jean Grae, and some champagne.
