Lux is dead (R.I.P. brah), “The Misfits” are a joke, Danzig isn’t much better, and what the hell happened to T.S.O.L. and 45 Grave? Horror punk just kinda returned to the tomb it came from, and left it’s legacy in the hands of a hermaphrodite like Davy Havoc and uh, Adam Lambert.
It’s really time to start realizing that the impending Budget Rock revival that is taking place is the new flesh, and thanks in part to the group of bands over the last decade (Black Lips, King Khan, etc.) that have helped make “the kids” more aware to the glory days of 90’s garage slop no better exemplified than a couple of tee pee covered lunatics better known to the world as The Mummies who were the originators of the revival that we’re currently swept up into.
