Indie rock collective Aathens – comprised of P. Browne, H. Gledhill, J. Jaworski, and E. Shellard – have been hard at work on their debut TVEP, an EP-length performance film recorded in one take, that is set to release on November 11th. It is obvious just by that fact that this group has a firm grip on the creative side of things, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store. Until then, we’ve got the video premiere for their song “Man Hours”.
Directed by Daniel Neeson, the video is shot as though it were filmed in the 80’s/90’s, complete with unclear picture and static stripes that cross the screen. Like the rest of TVEP, it is live performance footage of the band, and really gives you a clear introduction to what their shows and their esthetic are like.
TVEP is out November 11th. Keep up with Aathens on Facebook.
