bliss UK is the brainchild of former Wet Hair bassist Justin Thye, Minneapolis punk drummer Oliver Moltaji, and psychedelic newcomer Tyler Fjeld. This Twin Cities trio offers new wave nostalgia with twinkling strings from Thye and Fjeld’s crystalline vocals that belong in a 1980s Liverpool jukebox. The achingly dreamy single “4” is illustrated in a short film by L.A.-based director Lily Lake. Their debut music video features Fjeld and Thye in proper post-punk form, looking starkly into the camera while pooling in a rotation of neon filters.
