At 15 years of age, I was trying to survive my second season of basketball, while still watching cartoons and going to bed at 11:00. Rapping, producing and making videos with my friends wasn't exactly something my immature brain could handle. However, young artist, Chester Watson, does all that and more, while delivering some intense raps.
Watson is a young,15 year old kid, hailing out Georgia via Saint Louis. Watson and his crew of like minded kids, Nu-Age Syndicate, are delving in the world of the hip-hop at young age. The youth movement is starting to become a popular thing in the world of rap. The rise of the Internet and the fast rising success of groups like Odd Future and A$AP Mob, among others have made it easier to do so. Watson and his team, unveil a new video for his second single, "Shapeshifter". The track was taken from his excellent debut tape, The Phantom, where Watson produced some of the tracks under his alias, Chza. Watson not only produced the psychedelic beat but also delivers hazy vocals that work perfectly with the trippy video.
Check out the entire tape here and lets see what the future holds for the young kid.
