Have you ever been on a strange and unusual trip, despite the fact that you’re in a familiar place, surrounded by things that you know? Well, that’s what is portrayed in NONA‘s first official music video for the lead single off the upcoming EP. The video, quite frankly, begs the timeless question: Is he or isn’t he actually high off his balls?
Shot by Marcello Ambriz, NONA took the liberties of editing the video, which explores simple, every day situations through the eyes of someone who is high out of their mind. “Otherways” in the background actually brings a soothing sense to the video, as you explore the anxiety that must be running through their heads, changing into different hats and exploring outfit options. (In fact, some of this video is like the manly, modern version of those shopping montages on 1990’s romantic comedies. But that’s neither here nor there.)
“The second half of this video I was begging my friend to stop filming, which I told him would happen,” admits NONA brainchild Michael Goldman, which might give you insight on how this video was really made.
All I have to say is, “I love you, bro.”
