New York’s singer-songwriter Sam Setton recently released his latest single “Stranger”. The track paints a beautiful, heartbreaking narrative about his struggles with a significant other he gave his heart to. It’s the incredibly relatable story of the “in between”, while that person may be “so beautiful that [he] can’t resist,” they are holding him at arm’s length, taunting him with their beauty, haunting memories, and intense gaze.
It’s the struggle of knowing what you want and not being able to handle it. It’s a childish game, and it’s come to life in “Stranger”.
