Watery Starve, the handmade tape label that brought us some of our favorite pressed-flower cassettes last year, has a new release from Norwegian musician Benjamin Finger on June 1. The release, The Bet, will be a vinyl for Watery Starve, and the tones that come with the first track, “Rosencrans Exit”, are as peaceful and ethereal as we've come to expect from the small imprint. Washes of female vocals overlaying a rumbling piano have us taking deep breaths this morning, centering ourselves in only a mild new wavey way.
