You probably haven’t heard music like “Honey” before. Coming from NYC’s Blak Emoji, just formed in 2015 in thanks to multi-talented Kelsey Warren, they take in more influences than one would expect. Backgrounds in jazz guitar, classical voice, and musical theory make for a complex, intelligent, and substantive mix throughout.
“Honey” is a part of Blak Emoji’s upcoming, debut EP, Intro, which will be featured in a Jan. 27th release show at Irving Plaza. (You can grab tickets to it, here.) Blak Emoji is all over Facebook, Twitter, and Spotify.
