Last September a young Sactown spitta by the name of Chuuwee dropped one of my favorite mixtapes of 2010 called Hot N' Ready, which was produced entirely by fellow Sactowner Lee Bannon. Chuuwee was 19 around the time of Hot N' Ready, so presumably the 20-year old is still making a killin' with his Be Cool mixtape with producer Jonathan Lowell.
Presented by Ooloo Clothing and Amalgam Digital, Be Cool is Chuuwee proving that ain't shit changed as his profile rises, taking a “I'm the same me/ and no amount of downloads gon' change me” perspective. The young spitta still loves the Cali green, still loves homaging 90's rap and still has one of the tightest flows in the game. Listening to “Politics As Always”, its high time Chuuwee linked up for a track with Fresno's Fashawn, on some Nor Cal street manifesto steez.
