The London Four-Piece Reflect on Creativity
Deliah, is the collective name for a London-based soul-electronica four-piece, originally from Liverpool.
In the past year, the band have been featured by Fortitude Magazine, Get Into This and Gigslutz, as well as tracks featured on popular UK show The Only Way is Essex. They’ve also supported GoGo Penguin and Maverick Sabre. This summer also saw the band travelling the country performing at music industry mega-showcases The Great Escape, Dot to Dot, Jig Saw and LIMF.
The London creatives have embarked on a release, focused around a trilogy concept. The new single ‘Infinite’ marks the second part of the series. It’s an anthemic piece of fusion, with elements from electronica, soul and pop, embezzled as the foundation to Michelle’s powerful top-line.
“Infinite: focuses on the next part of the journey – mastering a craft. The time and effort put into creating, and achieving, potential can be lost through a struggle and ambition that can have no definitive end point.Who defines something as ‘good’, or a success? Who defines someone as ‘good’, or a success? When is the artist, or craftsman, finished in this endeavour? And, was the finished product worth the struggle. “ – Deliah
