Nashville’s electro-rock band Omega Swan is poised for a breakout. They’ve been hard at work in the studio with engineer Edsel Holden, who has worked with groups such as The Raconteurs, The Lumineers, and The Insurgency, in studios across the famed Music City, like Sound Emporium, which has seen folks like Jason Isbell and the Alabama Shakes darken its doors. Their latest single is “What’s Ur Damage?” and we’re premiering it here.
With sparkling synths and high, gritty vocals reminiscent of the best 70’s rockers, this track will get stuck in your head and you won’t even mind. “Say what’s ur damage, baby? I think it’s time you earned your stripes!” they ask us over rolling drums fading into sirens. This is the ultimate pump-up song, so play it, and play it loud, before heading out to tackle the day.
