I always look forward, so much, to summer in the city.
Since I was just a little girl riding the MTA I loved coming in to sit around in the heat and loiter in the gritty hot streets with cute punnx. But mannnn, give me a break, this summer is kind of the worst.
The heat is unbearable, the Pool Parties have been lackluster, and even though this season of Big Brother is really great, that's not enough to save it. Yeah, I'm prettty ready for summer to be over.
So let's do something I don't think I've ever done before: yearn for winter. Let's think about wool berets and dirty snow and hot whiskey and children's holiday classics while rocking out to some jams that are great for some cold weather.
Merry Chrismukkah in August, as they say!
