Sam McGarrigle, better known as Gross Magic, has been shot around the blog circuit since his demo surfaced early this year. His new Teen Jamz EP is currently set to release August 8 via Sounds of Sweet Nothing, and I can honestly say that I can’t wait. The Brighton dude employs a Pixies-esque juxtaposition between loud and soft and an anthemic quality reminiscent of the early 90s grunge scene, characteristics seldom heard in the current, arpeggio-plagued industry.
