Tommi Waring Explores Retro Influences in ‘Dangerous’
The great-grandson of musician and TV Personality Fred Waring, Tommi has music and entertainment in his veins.
Since studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Tommi has been between London and the U.S working with a number of producers. He’s since developed a strong working relationship with Dom Užkuraitis & Julian Blanco of Soho Sonic Studios (The studio have previously worked with the likes of Idris Elba, Diplo & Lethal bizzle). Their first single was the nostalgic, retro-influenced “Miami”, an ode to Tommi’s hometown and influences throughout film and music in the 80’s. The track cemented Tommi as one of the country’s most exciting new singer-songwriters, with support from tastemaker publications Wonderland Magazine and Complex UK, As well as support on The Hype Machine.
The new single is the equally effective ‘Dangerous’. It’s a stunning piece of retro, analogue synth compositions, staying loyal to his retro influences.
