Heather O’Neill was born to keep on keepin’ on. Drawing comparisons to Ani DiFranco, the Irish-born, Chicago-suburbs-raised songwriter has been hailed for her swirl of blues, soul and folk.
Following the release of her Transmute EP, O’Neill is now sharing her latest single “Nicotine and Neon” which Impose is premiering today. On the track, the artist works up a smoky, sludgy atmosphere as her vocal works like a steely-eyed glare into the darkness she’s examining.
O’Neill shares, “‘Nicotine and Neon’ is all about hard work and dedication going unseen and underappreciated.”
