Atlanta’s electro-pop (or “cry dance,” as their Facebook elaborates) duo We Roll Like Madmen – comprised of Chris Tollack and Jordan Young – is set to release their latest jewel – an album titled AF – on October 7th. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of their brand new track “Stressed” right here.
Noise. A cross between the sound of a buzzsaw and what you might hear in a horror movie, the bass is established first. The song then continues to layer into itself, haunting vocals joining in like a chant. Lyrics like “what I need right now / is the the energy just to live it down / You can’t fight what you haven’t found / I know, honey I know” blend into the song, driving its audience into a trance-like state.
