In one of this country’s finest small-town music scenes, Asbury Park, duo Yawn Mower have been winning over audiences since their inception with their infectious fuzz-rock stylings and irreverent sense of humor. Recently, the band took part in Speak Into My Good Eye‘s annual 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge
which is set to benefit the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.Impose Magazine is happy to host the exclusive premiere of Yawn Mower’s contribution, “It’s All Non-Stop,” today. On the track, Mike Chick (guitar, vox) and Biff Swenson (drums) craft a pensive slice of indie-rock led by a winding lead guitar line and poetic and somewhat ironic lyrics in examining the whirring onslaught of time written under a 24-hour time crunch.
Stream Yawn Mower’s “It’s All Non-Stop” below and be sure to catch them at A Friendsgiving Fuzz Fest hosted by CoolDad Music, Little Dickman Records, & The Garden State Beard & Mustache Society at the Asbury Park Brewery on November 18th.
