MTV senior writer/editor and “Stuff Hipsters Hate” co-creator (and occasional Impose contributor) Brenna Ehrlich has a new project we are happy to announce today–a small printing press/record label creating weird books, tapes and zines called All Ages Press. The debut release will be “Smaller Town”, the first in a “zines for teens” series, and comes with a limited-run cassette to go along with it, off of which we get “Lost Forever” by Motel TV (the self-titled debut solo project of Dave Otto), premiering today. “Smaller Town” features contributions from Man Man, Tao Lin, PUJOL, Nimai Larson of Prince Rama, author Sarah McCarry, author Tonya Kuper, astrologer Licorice Root, musician and author Rich Freitas, among others. The first installment’s theme is “Suburban Dreams and Nightmares,” created in collaboration with Brenna’s childhood friend, artist Barbara Geoghegan.
The zine will be released at the The Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo on October 4-5, and will be available for purchase online on the All Ages Press tumblr. Stream “Lost Forever” below.
