Biophilia, the newest venture of legendary Icelandic singer Bjork, is a multimedia residency that encompasses music, internet, installation and performance art. Experimenting with new self-invented instruments, including a digitally controlled pipe organ and 30-foot pendulum that utilizes the earth's gravity, she is bridging the gap between music and science, furthering her status as an artistic visionary.
In a special collaboration with MIF, Bjork will be taking her Biophilia live show around the world while kids in Manchester get the chance to immerse themselves in educational workshops studying the work.
Catch her at the end of June performing with an all-female choir at the Campfield Market Hall.
