With all of the critical acclaim as of late – her new music video for “Judy Gumtree” debuted on Impose just last month – you’d think indie pop singer-songwriter Maya Solovey would be hosting an album release party in a giant arena or something. Instead, she’s headed to Rockwood Music Hall on October 9th. The party begins on Stage 2 – at 196 Allen Street – at 7pm, where she will be singing her little heart out to the masses.
“Please note that Rockwood has a strict start and end policy, and that we will surely start at 7pm, and end at 7:45, so don’t be late!! They also have a new policy of buying a $10 drink voucher at the door, so to pay the band, I will pass the bucket and hope for your generosity!”
