Last year Cropped Out Fest upped the ante with an incredibly long bill of bands for their fourth installment. This year they’ve just outdone themselves. Founding fathers James Ardery and Ryan Davis (who documented last year’s events for us on film) tipped us off to the lineup earlier this week, and all we have to say is The Sun Ra Arkestra! But seriously, take a look at that bill.
The whole thing goes down September 26-27 at the American Turners—a working class country club on the banks of the Ohio River in Louisville, with a closing party (featuring White Reaper, Protomartyr, Tropical Trash, and Wishgift) at a farming supply warehouse on Sunday, September 28.
As of right now, they’re only offering weekend passes at the discounted rate of $50 for all three days, which you can pick up here. Individual day passes will be made available “soon.” In the meantime, just read the lineup in alphabetical order and start planning your trip to Kentucky.
