A little less than a fortnight ago, Cymbals Eat Guitars announced their upcoming sophomore full-length, Lenses Alien, out September 13th on Barsuk Records. Produced by John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Murder City Devils, Breeders) and recorded in a more serene and distraction free space (suburban New Jersey), Lenses Alien promises to be more collaborative and polished than 2009's Why There Are Mountains. And now it's being taken on tour. The psychedelic, synth-poppy Hooray for Earth and Brooklyn-based drone rock trio Beige will be supporting in select areas as CEG make their way across these United Staes this fall.
