DD/MM/YYYY teams up with Beak>, tours with Women

We're pretty shy when it comes to self-promotion, but we're shameless when it comes to our bands. We're like proud parents sporting that honor student bumper sticker.

If you don't know already, DD/MM/YYYY is one of the hardest-working, always-touring bands you'll ever meet. Because of this, their brand of Dada-inspired, prog-indie-core is exceptionally tight live; always earning them new fans while on the road. In Europe it's no different, and the last time they hit the UK they caught the attention of Geoff Barrow. Yes, the dude from Portishead and Beak>.

Geoff liked the guys so much he signed them to his Invada label, and will be re-releasing DD/MM/YYYY’s latest album, Black Square in Europe. Yes, that's the same record we here at Impose did on cassette last year. How rad is that? The Invada version will come with additional songs and be released on October 11.

As if that's not enough, they recently recorded a Daytroter Session and some new studio jams for a split LP with fellow Canadians Women that will be released on the awesome German label Altin Village. The dudes have also reissued their first full-length album, The Blue Screen of Death as a limited edition LP + 7-inch package on Itchy Roof Records, run by
Moshe Rozenberg of DD/MM/YYYY.

You get all that? Good. Now scroll down to see when you can catch DD/MM/YYYY and Women in person.
