Future Brown, the progressive hip-hop supergroup, have just signed to Warp. The label is known for their work with artists on the forefront of pushing musical boundaries and innovating genres. With acts like Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, and Flying Lotus, Future Brown now add their name to the impressive label roster.
Future Brown is made up of a rousing line of producers, including Daniel Pineda and Asma Maroof of Nguzunguzu, J-Crush and Fatima Al Qadiri. Their first release on Warp consists of remixes from the groups two singles, “Wanna Party” and “Worlds Mine,” which dropped last year.
In an interview early this year with the Guardian, Al Qadiri said, “The whole point of this project is not to follow some script. Everything is about dreaming as big as you can.” With this move to Warp, their hopes and dreams have definitely been answered.
The remixes are set to release November 4, but you can stream the hard-hitting remix of “Wanna Party” featuring Tink and 3D Na’Tee below.
