Get Pumped for Cropped Out 2016

Post Author:

Kentucky is making a name for itself in the way of music. Over the past several years, Cropped Out Music & Arts Festival has taken over Louisville to showcase a well-curated list of contemporary musicians, artists, and artisans for the public. An independent endeavor, the fest focuses on “Louisville natives, friends, family, and fellow thinks from Nashville to Chicago to Brooklyn and beyond.” This year, the fest will take place on September 23rd and 24th, with a closing party on Sunday, September 25th. It will be held at American Turners Club (3125 River Road).

Not only is the fest usually a riot, but its curators make a promo video every year that (normally) serves to tickle your funny bone. This year’s is no exception, with its old school vibe and most ridiculously amazing narrator. Check out the video for what’s to come!

The 2016 lineup is immaculate, by the way. With acts like Dead C, Bill Callahan, Cereal Glyphs, Matchess, Vern, Opposite Sex, Quilt Boy, Home Blitz, Kool Keith, Black Panties, and many, many more, there is so much to take in and add to your music collection! Don’t forget the array of food trucks, beer options, and your call to camp out between days. (Yes! You CAN get down and dirty in the literal sense!)

Tickets start at just $40 for a one day pass. For more information – and to purchase tickets to a festival you do not want to miss – check out croppedoutmusic.com.
