On June 10 and 11, pysch rock will once again descend upon Sonoma. This year’s Huichica festival is being co-presented by the Fruitbats and (((Folkyeah!))) and will feature performances by Mystic Braves, Dengue Fever, Silver Apples, Cherry Glazerr, and Peaking Lights Acid Test.
Held on the Gundlach-Bundschu estate, Huichica combines the farm-to-fork movement of the Pacific with its current cache of psychedelic stalwarts and pairs the whole thing with wine that carries significant legacy in the region. As we noted last years, it’s “where you find out which is your dominant wine hand.” Recently Huichica announced its lineup schedule. Split between three stages, the majority of the bands will perform on Saturday which includes sets by Giant Sand, Magic Trick, Kelley Stoltz, Israel Nash, Dirty Ghosts, Male Gaze, Mynabirds, and Mild High Club.
