Invisible Things, “Please Redirect”

Post Author:

Do you ever wish that a song would go on much longer than it does? Maybe 40 minutes instead of 3? “Please Redirect”, the new track by pyschedelic jam duo Invisible Things is one of those songs. Luckily for us, in some ways the song does go on much longer – Home is the Sun, the band's 17-track debut, is meant to be listened to as a continuous piece. Invisible Things are made up of guitarist Mark Shippy and drummer Jim Sykes. Shippy's guitar makes constant shifts from clean strumming to explosive reverb, and Sykes's drumming, which is the result of a study on Sri Lankan percussion, is both jazzy and energetic. Be sure to get Home is the Sun, out September 18 on Porter Records, and if you're lucky enough to live in one of these cities, see them on their upcoming tour–dates below.
