Cousins and Brooklyn duo George Langford and Tom Van Buskirk, better known as Javelin, are in high demand as remixers. The pair recently remixed Papercranes' “Dust Season” with a subtle dance beat and fantastic synths that leaves the original strongly intact—exactly what you would hope for in a remix. Aside from Papercranes, Javelin have also recently remixed Cee-Lo, Warpaint, Future Islands, and Darwin Deez. The guys start a tour this week with Future Islands performing new songs as well as songs from their debut album, No Mas, and Canyon Candy.
