MusicfestNW Presents Project Pabst just announced that both weekend passes and individual Sunday tickets are now sold out for this weekend’s festival. The Portland, OR festival takes place this Saturday, August 27 & Sunday, August 28 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park and features an eclectic mix of artists—from Duran Duran, Ice Cube, Ween, and Drive Like Jehu, to A$AP Ferg, Parquet Courts, Sheer Mag and Hop Along.  Jane Smith, the festival’s General Manager notes, “We’re stoked Sunday and weekend tickets have sold out—neither festival has sold out previously. We’re looking forward to an amazing weekend of music on Portland’s waterfront.” Saturday tickets are still available and can be purchased at http://portland.projectpabst.com. MusicfestNW Presents Project Pabst is a 21+ event.

This year, Project Pabst returns for it’s third year and joins forces with Portland’s long-running festival MusicfestNW to make one cohesive and expansive music experience. The festival will offer a unique experience, incorporating music, art, hands-on experiences, as well as food and beer at reasonable “non-festival” prices. Festivalgoers will be entertained with the PBRcade, PBR Vandalism, and PBR Wax. Notes PBR National Brand Ambassador Matt Slessler, “we focused on getting bands we like, but we also want to incorporate art, heritage and the overall lifestyle of our brand. By joining forces with MusicfestNW, we’ve added an additional 15 years of Portland history to the festival.”

In addition to the daytime festival, Dr. Martens will host a sold out kickoff party featuring Vince Staples and Mean Jeans (more info here). There will be also be separately ticketed night shows with music and comedy at various venues throughout the city from August 25th through the 28th. A few of the night shows include Digable Planets, Guided By Voices, Real Estate, Busdriver, Y La Bamba, David Bazan and more.
