Chamber pop goddess Isobel Campbell and former Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan are at it again with their third collaborative LP.
The album, entitled Hawk, will be released August 24 on Vanguard Records. The album is produced by Isobel herself and all the arrangements are also by her. It was produced in multiple locations including Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Los Angeles, Denmark, and her native Glasgow and includes guest appearances by former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha and erstwhile British chat-topper and Martha's Vinyard native Willy Mason.
The album is available to stream for free right now on Facebook, the only catch being that you have to click the “Like” button on Isobel Campbell's Facebook page.
If you don't feel like professing your “like” of Isobel Campbell for all your friends and family to see, then you can just watch the video for the first single “You Won't Let Me Down Again”, an atmospheric montage of cheap motels, country roads, pistols, and vintage cars. I might also add that Isobel is looking like a total babe in it.
